Honeymoon – Hanalei, Snorkeling at Ke’e Beach and Beach House

Our last full day in Kauai we checked the wave report and it looked calmer so we decided to give Kee beach another go.  We drove out that way and headed straight to the beach. The waves were calmer so we picked a spot and got ready. We explored the entire reef and even saw a sea turtle. It didn’t stay long and we gave it lots of room. We stayed in for quite a while until I needed to take a break. We laid on the beach for a while resting and warming up. Until we decided to go for another quick snorkel before we got to hungry. After we had explored the reef for the second time we headed back to the care and into Hanalei to Calypsos for lunch. It was a cute little restaurant/pub and the food was pretty good. Once again the window seats were taken but it was still nice.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

After lunch we drove back towards Poipu and went to the Beach House. We snorkeled there for a while. Kee is beautiful, warm and clear but Beach House is fishy. When it comes to snorkeling Beach House is our favorite.

That night for dinner we stopped at a shack along the highway in Kapa’a. They had noodles and wraps. I had the noodle stir fry they were out of chicken so I got tofu. It was Ok but not really my thing and Thai iced tea is really quite gross. I ate all the veggies though but ended up avoiding the tofu. I like tofu really thin and well cooked. This was large and jello like.
